A year ago, from the fact that many of fresh graduate student aren’t really convinced for what they want to do after graduation, I have decided to travel more soon after I finished my study. I was thinking about it long way before my final thesis presentation and submission. I am not really sure what the reason is, but all I know there are lots of wonderful things in life out there that I’ve missed while I am growing up as an adult. No, it’s not because of my parents did not raise me well, in fact, as the youngest daughter in a family they raised me very carefully and right. The thing is, I’ve been always standing on my comfort zone and sometimes feel curious about what will happen if I leave the life I used to be just for a while and see the world out there, maybe just for sometimes. Back then, I didn’t even know where to go, how can I get the money so I can travel and who will accompany me. I just want to have a time where I can visit a place I’ve never been to, meet with a lot of strangers or just simply try something I’ve never had the chance to do before by traveling and challenged my self to stand on outside my comfort zone. Who knows, It may end up with something interesting that I’ve never imagine before and lead me into a new direction on my way of living. « Read the rest of this entry »

Belajar berkebun di minggu pagi.

Ayah saya sangat mencintai berkebun, dan pagi ini saya diajaknya.
Berkebun sudah menjadi rutinitas tersendiri bagi ayah saya. Setiap pagi sebelum mandi, sesudah sarapan, disela-sela waktu prakteknya,sampai malam hari sebelum tidur beliau selalu menyempatkan waktunya untuk merawat tanaman kesayangannya atau hanya sekedar menengok. Nah, pagi ini sayapun diajak beliau berjalan-jalan dan menemaninya berkebun yang ternyata memang menyenangkan . Mulai dari menengok mangga, memetik buah berry, dan mengontrol “buah ajaib” dilakukan kami berdua (sebenernya saya sih lebih banyak ngeliatin dan moto-moto hehehe).

I spent my last weekend on the portibi farm with my friends from tedxjakarta. It’s an organic farm located on the end of Ciawi tol own by J’ocean. It’s an amazing places that combines farming and lodges with a lot activity to do there. For me, there’s no reason for not loving this amazing place
